The craze for consumerism has been ousted by a new wave of common sense. The cash cow has been slaughtered, the billions of dreams of a down trodden underclass have been dashed upon the rocks of a stormy economic cycle. Products cannot love you, retailers never liked you and the bankers now hate you. The future is a frugal one for sure.
