I'm Paul Baines, a UK based urban artist with a mean streak. I was rejected by every advertising agency in the country in the 90s for being too subversive, and they were right to. I create controversial street art prints that question the authority of corporate media and government to influence our lives as they see fit. Religion has been replaced by the cult of the celebrity, purpose by monetary clout and truth by spin. I'm not a street artist, I work alone in a studio in a broken down seaside town, but my mind's eye is always focused on the world around me.
